New Star Trek Into Darkness trailer shows how badass Benedict Cumberbatch can be

After the initial teaser raised expectations, the latest Star Trek Into Darkness trailer has hit the web. It’s safe to say that J.J. Abrams has nailed it yet again.

This latest trailer gives us the best indication yet of exactly how bad Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be. The sizzling tension between him and Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk is almost palpable, while the special effects deserve their own special mention. Again.

The movie is all set to hit cinemas on May 9. While that’s little more than a month away, it feels like light years.
