Apple announces iPad pricing for Australia

After a long wait, at 11pm on Friday Night Apple announced that the iPad will finally reach Australian shores on May 28.

Friday May 28 will be a big day for Apple stores in Australia, as well as courier drivers across the country.  Pre-Orders start on May 10, so there’s your first ‘to-do’ item for Monday morning.

It’s been a long wait for Australians, and now, we’ll finally get to see just how game changing the iPad might be.

Our big wait now is for information on what Telstra, Optus and Vodafone will charge for the 3G coverage, and will they require contracts or follow the AT&T + Apple US model of no contracts.
