I’ve loved the recent entries to the DAB+ (Digital Radio) Range from BUSH and GRUNDIG, both released small portable / pocket radios which offer great sound at excellent value. ($129 and $179 respectively).
So, when OXX Digital announced their new POCKET radio, I knew exactly what to expect, good battery life, good size, perhaps really just in a new package..
OXX however have taken Digital Radio listening more seriously than anyone, and we are fortunate that the distributor of OXX in Australia is also the distributor of the JAYS range of earphones. So, the OXX Pocket DAB+ radio will hit our shores PRE PACKAGED with a set of A-JAYS ONE Earphones. Retail $49.95, these are the top notch earphones with the flat cord which means tangle free.
Earphones are often just an afterthought, and with respect to the Bush and Grundig offering, I can’t use the ones that come with them, the quality and fit just isn’t the same as what you get from even these basic JAYS.
This is an exciting new product for DAB, and will be in Bing Lee (Sydney) in Late November, and Harvey Norman stores in December – all for $139.95!
OXX Digital Pocket – Due Late November 2010 – $139.95
Available ONLINE at Wicked Digital, Due last week November into Bing Lee & Harvey Norman 1st week December
