WHITE iPhone – Finally available! TOMORROW – April 28

An announcement has not yet been issued by Apple Australia, however An announcement from Apple USA dated 27 April states that the White iPhone will be available ‘Tomorrow”.

The announcement goes on to list Australia as one of the countries where the White iPhone will be available from April 28, from Apple’s website and Retail stores.

Expect the phone to be available at Telco partners also, and expect a sell out very fast – although, with delays so long, many people may have given up waiting!

Apple’s announcement states: “The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”

The White iPhone was announced at the same time as the iPhone 4 almost a year ago, but was delayed due to quality issues, many believe related to the transparancy showing through the white.

All that is behind it now, and one of the few Apple failures of late (ie: it was announced but not delivered) has been overcome.

I’ll publish more details as they come to hand…
