The Volley was first introduced in 1939 as a tennis shoe and was worn by the legendary likes of Rod Laver, Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Ken Rosewall, who all wore O.C. versions. In 1976, Mark Edmondson brought the brand back into the spotlight when he won the Australian Open in a pair of Volley Internationals. In the recent past the shoes have seen a new surge in popularity, with limited runs of different colours and specially tailored versions gracing the feet of the famous to the moderately hip.
