Classic Dunlop Volley gets a style makeover

If you don’t appreciate the Dunlop Volley you don’t understand style or shoes. And you have no respect for tennis. The Volley was first introduced in 1939 as a tennis shoe and was worn by the legendary likes of Rod Laver, Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Ken Rosewall, who all wore O.C. versions. In 1976, Mark Edmondson brought the brand back into the spotlight when he won the Australian Open in a pair of Volley Internationals. In the recent past the shoes have seen a new surge in popularity, with limited runs of different colours and specially tailored versions gracing the feet of the famous to the moderately hip. But now you can get your Volleys online and get them with added style.

Head to the Volley store and check out the range which includes the original Volley O.C. as well as the Volley International, Volley Safety (with steel toes) and our favourites, the Volley S.S. The latter comes with full grain premium leather, has heel lining and is exclusive to the online Volley shop. They come in a range of colours as well, including tan, white, black and black/dove grey. At $120 per pair, they are well worth the coin. There’s free shipping too, so grab a pair or three now.

Price: From $35 (Volley International) to $120 (Volley S.S.)
