Feel you have the fitness it takes to match it with a Formula 1 driver? Time to put your money where your mouth is. Mark Webber has just announced the Hobart Adventure Run.
Set to take place on December 4, three days before the start of the annual Mark Webber Tasmania Challenge, the even will be held over a 6.5 kilometre course around Hobart. The run starts at the Henry Jones Art Hotel and takes participants to the Queens Domain and back again. It’s hardly a marathon but a great warm up for the Challenge or a good event for those a little less sport inclined.
Webber told Autosport today: “This is a run designed for everyone and it’s a great opportunity for people to come to Tasmania, get involved and join in the fun. Everyone who competes will help to raise money for charity, with the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program to receive considerable support from the event. So walk it, run it, bring the kids, just come along and I’m sure with what we have planned everyone will have a great day.”
