If there’s one thing Hollywood has done (mostly) right the past few years, it’s comic book movie… trailers. And after rapidly dumping Captain America and Thor on our shoulders this year at the cinema, things are starting to heat up for the Avengers movie, with its first trailer being released today.
Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everyone from Samuel L. Jackson to Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson, the Avengers is set to bring together the superheroes from all the recent Marvel superhero films to battle for the earth. While it’s unlikely to be the most cerebral of films hitting cinemas next year, it’s probably going to be one of the most enjoyable to watch, especially if the trailer is anything to go by.
