Buy a Red Bull Racing CASIO Edifice Limited Edition watch and meet Mark Webber

Casio has just released the seriously stylish Edifice Limited Edition watch with Red Bull Racing. It may not be the first Red Bull/Casio partnership, but it’s the best we’ve seen so far..

Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing Limited Edition (EQS-A1000RB-1AV)

I am fortunate enough to own the last Edifice Red Bull Limited edition watch and I wear it with Red Bull fanatical pride. The new EQSA1000RB model (shown here) will retail for $1299.

Fans of Red Bull (or F1 in general) should also know that if you buy one of the 20 limited editions before Tuesday at the Angus & Coote Pitt St store in Sydney city, you can actually meet Mark Webber and have a photo with him on the 18th (Tuesday).

But what makes the watch special, Casio tells us, is what goes on inside the watch:

“The EQSA1000RB comes equipped with an electronic crown switch and Casio’s unique ‘Smart Access’ system, simplifying the operation of multiple functions including a 1/20-second stopwatch, world time, timer and alarm.

“The watch uses five motors to independently operate the hour, minute and second hands, which turn on the same axis, and the large disk indicator and date display at the 3 o’clock position. The independent drives ensure that each hand moves smoothly and without interference. The watch also features Casio’s Tough Solar power system, which generates power from both sunlight and fluorescent light.”

Hey, it’s a great looking watch, and if you’ve got the cash, a great way to meet the great man too! We covered some cheaper stylish watches yesterday, by TW Steel, who also have a tie-in with an F1 team. Which one you prefer could be as much down to your F1 allegiance as your bank balance.
