With summer knocking on the door, the time is ripe for casual surfers across the country to start waxing the board and getting ready for another season of sun, sand and surf. If you’re planning a surfing road trip, this board bag/tent is perfect.
The wave cave originally looks like any other surfboard bag – capable of carrying two or more boards, depending on the version you buy – except that inside it also contains a pop up tent. Made from PVC waterproof canvas with 5mm fibreglass rods and high density polyfoam padding, the tent is both waterproof and easy to assemble.
With pricing starting at £180 ($276), it’s not exactly cheap. But since when have surfers ever put a dollar value on their passion?
