Triumph launching Steve McQueen Edition motorcycle

The Nazi chase of Steve McQueen in The Great Escape is one of the most celebrated bike scenes in the history of Hollywood, and motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is ready to cash in, announcing a limited edition motorcycle dubbed the Steve McQueen Edition.

Based on the Bonneville 100 and reminiscent of the Triumph TR6 in the movie, the limited edition bike will feature a military matte green finish and is limited to just 1,100, launching in 2012.

Each bike will be individually identified, and also features a solo seat, luggage rack and a copy of McQueen’s signature printed on the bike.

It’s a classically designed, stunning looking bike. Want.
