FOXTEL Guide for your smartphone now allows you to change channels.

I’ve always said how much I love the FOXTEL app for iPhone and iPad, well, it just got a whole stack cooler – now, you can change channels using the app too!

This is a very simple change, inside the app, they’ve replaced the SET REMINDER button with a CHANGE CHANNEL button when the program is about to come on, or is on at that time.

When you click change channel, that’s exactly what happens – not as quickly as with your remote, but within a few moments.

This is great for times the kids have run off with the remote or the batteries are flat.

However, interestingly, because it does this all via the internet, you can do it from anywhere!

I was at work today, testing the app, and annoying my wife who was trying to watch TV!

It’s a simple and excellent addition to what is an industry leading suite of applications from Foxtel.
