Michael Bay plus Need For Speed actually makes sense

Call him whatever you want, but Michael Bay isn’t subtle. Fast cars, fast talk, beautiful women, all tied together by explosions – lots of explosions. Which is why getting Bay to direct a trailer for upcoming racing game Need For Speed: The Run actually makes sense.

The latest game in the hugely popular Need for Speed series from Electronic Arts, the trailer showcases all of the Bay-like elements of the game. Fast cars racing through seemingly impossible situations, explosions shaking the screen, bullets flying every which way and a beautiful woman, to make it all worth while.

Bay’s trailers have always looked spectacular, only to be let down by the final feature film. Fortunately, in this case, Bay has only had control over the trailer, so we expect the game to actually be worth playing when it launches on November 17.
