Pure Bamboo is set to release the Bamboo Watch made from bamboo and stainless steel with Japanese quartz movement.
The fashion of wrist watches has begun to take centre stage over the past few years. Some of the biggest men’s fashion magazines and websites dedicate entire sections to new watches and the art of wearing said watch. For those that pay close attention to these sections, the Bamboo Watch is not for you. If you’re not a watch elitest though and are looking for something a bit different, the Bamboo Watch could be something you will enjoy having on your wrist.
Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on the planet. It’s also strong, durable and antimicrobial, making it a great material to use for everyday high use items. The Bamboo Watch includes a face and strap that are largely made from bamboo (minus small moving parts, hinges and other parts that can’t realistically be made from bamboo). You can grab one in either large or small face with the large face including a calendar as well.
Both are analogue watches that come with a gift box. The watches are unisex as well making them an ideal Christmas present for anyone who is environmentally conscious, if not a hardcore watch collector.
Price: $198 (small), $225 (large).
