Mustek gives you the scanner for your iPad – something nobody needed, surely

I can remember buying my first scanner for my computer. It was a Mustek.  It was difficult to install requiring a new card to be installed in the PC and drivers from hell.

Today, I realised just how far we’ve come. Not only is Mustek a tiny little company occupying the smallest possible stand at CES (bit sad really), but the installation and use of scanners is now just ridiculously simple.

With the Mustek iPad Docking Scanner, you dock your iPad and it charges. Launch the iScan App and you can insert a photo or document which will be scanned in seconds.

Trust me, it really is that easy – take a look for yourself. Now to find an actual use for it…
