Forget bungie jumping – the next big extreme sport is rope swinging

“What’s that?” we hear you ask. “Rope swinging is an extreme sport now?” Well, not exactly, but it certainly could be if you do it like Devin Graham, who created a swing underneath the iconic Corona Arch in Utah.

The rope swing, which includes a 40 metre free fall at the beginning, is pants-soilingly epic, as you can see from the video. Graham claims that it was the world’s largest rope swing, although we have no way of confirming or denying that.

In any case, I’d never jump off a rock like that with nothing but a rope attached to my waste. Would you?
