Toyota TMG EV P001 electric car sets Nürburgring Nordschleife record

Toyota has set a lap record for an electric car around the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife. If you’re a fan of cars or motor racing though, prepare to be completely and utterly turned off by electric vehicles!

The sound the Toyota TMG EV P001 makes is terrible. It’s like a Mitsubishi MiEV that goes fast. There is almost no noise, all you hear is the tyre squeals. Now imagine if F1 went electric, or even V8 Supercars. What a bloody terrible thing that would be. Judge for yourself though, take a look at the impressive lap, but be prepared to be completely turned off by electric cars. The driver, in case you were wondering, was Jochen Krumbach.
