Find out if you’re getting the NBN soon

Australia’s National Broadband Network promises to deliver superfast internet speeds across the country. NBN Co has just announced which suburbs will be a part of the first stage rollout, receiving the network in the next three years. Here’s how to find out if you’re on that list.

NBN Co has set up an incredibly simple website to help Aussies discover whether they are part of the first stage rollout. All that’s required is to visit the NBN rollout website, enter your address, suburb or postcode and a Google Map will show the areas that are expected to get the new broadband service within the next three years.

There’s a rough idea of when the rollout will commence for each area, although there’s generally a six to 12 month window of when work will commence.

So, take a look? Will you be getting super fast broadband in the next few years?
