Coachellagram is a collection of Instagram photos shot from Coachella and collated in one big, hipster love fest website. OK, Coachella isn’t so much for hipsters, but the Instagram filters give it that ‘fresh from Surry Hills opshop’ vibe. Anyone on Instagram that tags their photos #Coachella or #Coachella2012 winds up having their photos posted on Coachellagram.
Currently rocking Coachellagram is a whole heap of pictures with filters of random people. Not a lot of music action going on, to be fair, but it’s all about the vibe, right? Feeling like you’re there in the middle of the action! Also bear in mind that the images change quite quickly so by the time you look at it there may well be a whole heap of stage shots, thus making this paragraph look quite idiotic.
For the uninitiated, because it really is a US thing (albeit famous worldwide), Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals on the planet which runs over a series of weekends in the Californian desert. The setlist includes the Arctic Monkeys, M83, Kaiser Chiefs, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Australia’s very own Gotye. The Yanks just can’t get enough of him right now.
