Brilliant, Yoda appears in the Star Wars films as he embeds his knowledge to other Jedi Padawans. But what if Yoda spoke normally? Would he sound anywhere near as intelligent? Turns out the answer is no.
Vimeo user MechaStewart decided to edit Yoda’s performance in all the Star Wars movies so that the little green man speaks with normal syntax. The results are surprisingly disappointing – what once sounded profound and intelligent now sounds like a fairly boring script. While that’s not really a surprise for the prequels, to watch the puppet yoda from the original trilogy tranform into a fairly generic character is a little soul crushing for Star Wars geeks.
