Who knew the Sonic Screwdriver controlled your home theatre too

Doctor Who fans have long known that the Sonic Screwdriver is the ultimate tool for a time lord, but did you know it’s also quite useful for the king of the couch? Well, this universal remote version is.

With the ability to issue up to 39 commands, the wand-shaped remopte can control pretty much any device with an infrared sensor on the front, from your TV to your air conditioner. The screwdriver uses gestures based tracking to send instructions to the device, so you might need a pretty good memory to remember all 39 instructions, but given you’ll be controlling your TV with a Sonic Screwdriver, who cares?
