Belkin has cases to cover your new iPad mini

Belkin iPad mini covers

Getting an iPad is a great experience until you realise these pricey little products are prone to scratches if you leave them unprotected. Renowned accessory maker Belkin has hit the market fast after the launch of the iPad mini with some great little products to help you keep your tablet safe.

Two covers we tested here at EFTM give a very simple option for how you keep your iPad mini safe.

Belkin Portfolio Sleeve for iPad mini

The first is the Portfolio Sleeve. At $19.95 it’s cheap and simple. It has a neoprene construction with a metallic finish which adds a nice look to what is essentially just a sleeve for the iPad mini. Soft and easy to hold in the hand or to keep in your bag, the Sleeve allows you to keep the iPad mini safe while using the iPad mini without a case when you’re actually holding it in the hand. The Portfolio Sleeve comes in Black, Ruby and Violet colours.

Belkin Quilted Cover for iPad mini

For a more attached case for the iPad mini, check out the Quilted Cover which has one of those classic quilted stitching pattern on the front and back with a magnetic tab closure to keep it from coming open. Inside it opens like a book to show four protective corners which keep the iPad safe and in place.

Additionally the Quilted cover has a set of non slip stand points which allow you to flip it open and stand the iPad mini up for viewing or working. It’s available in Black, Cream or Ruby and is $49.95.
