Red Bull’s V8 Supercar has officially landed

It’s a complete turn around in form to see a promotional video featuring Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup “swearing like sailors” but that’s exactly what Red Bull Racing Australia have released this morning following the initial teaser.

Following on from the “landing soon” video, the “has landed” version shows the full story of Craig Lowndes captaining a small transport ship with a single container on board – carrying the brand new Red Bull Racing V8 Supercar.

To be unveiled on Feburary 14, the new car is not only a new vehicle itself (being a “car of the future”) but of course features the full new Red Bull livery and sponsorship.

The video is a fun take on the team, with team boss Roland Dane and other key members of staff playing a role in the “Story”.

If anything, it’s a sign that Red Bull are going to be a promotional force to be reckoned with in 2013.

The best line of the video is Craig Lowndes on the radio to Jamie Whincup down in the engine room complaining that the boat is “Driving like a S#@tbox – like a Nissan”. You’ve gotta love competition.
