Official: Toyota 86 convertible is real, called FT-86 Open

Toyota has officially announced that it will show off a convertible version of the Toyota 86 sports car at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It’s 86 sports car has won multiple car of the year awards in Australia and continues to sell out. 

Called the FT-86 Open concept, the car will be used to gauge reaction from consumers on whether or not the Japanese brand should do a drop top version of the car. Little more was announced about the convertible version of the Toyota 86 convertible but the company left media with this image.
