When you put together two brands like Oral-B and Braun and challenge them to develop the best products possible you should end up with something pretty decent. The Triumph electric toothbrush we reviewed recently certainly ticked those boxes, but now they’ve gone one step further with the “Black”.
Just when you get used to something like the “Triumph” they go and do one better – story of my life. But with Fathers day fast approaching this might be perfect for the family gift to dad!
Braun and Oral-B are both part of the same group of companies, so bringing them together over the years has led to that solid German design being a key part of their electric toothbrush range.
The Black is the Triumph souped up. This thing is doing 48,800 movements per minute and has unique “oscillating, rotating and pulsating bristles that provide a tooth-by-tooth clean”.
There’s a whole range of modes from deep clean, daily clean, sensitive, whitening, massage and even tongue cleaner. All finished in a new-look black (to match the name) and comes with a pretty cool premium travel case as well as that great little digital display which keeps your brushing on track – or as Oral-B today said “like having a dentist in the bathroom with you” – I’ll leave that comment right there.
The Oral-B 7000 Black is available now from leading retailers and will set you back $299.99
