There are more iPhone cases than it’s possible to report on, count or even bother to think about! Your smartphone is such a personal device, you keep it with you all the time but because everyone has one you really want to personalise your phone with a funky case – it doesn’t come much better than LEGO!
Belkin have announced the availability of the first officially licensed and working LEGO Builder case for iPhone and iPod Touch.
The case itself is strong and solid as you’d expect from Belkin, but on the back is a patch of 13 x 7 LEGO baseplate under the camera with an extra 6 x 2 alongside the camera.
That authorised and working LEGO baseplate is actually made by LEGO and then used by Belkin to make the case itself – If you’ve seen those behind the scenes factory documentaries of the LEGO business you’ll know they take quality seriously, and this case feels the part.
It’s comfortable to hold as a baseplate alone on the back, but it is also easy to add your very own personal touch to with some real LEGO pieces.
The case also features a semi-flexible outer frame for a little shock-absorption as well as spaces for the camera, headphone socket and speakers.
As an iPhone 5 case it will set you back $39.95 and will also come for iPod Touch (5th Gen)
You can find it at selected Telstra stores, as well as Dick Smith, BIG W and Harvey Norman Stores.
