In 2006 Andre “Dr. Dre” Young known worldwide as a rap artist and producer turned his attention to another venture, putting his name on headphones. Or as we in the radio industry say “cans” – Now they’ve got an Aussie flavour.
Beats by Dr Dre branded audio systems have done it all – back in 2012 they were showcased in the Chrysler 300S. Calling all wannabe gangsters!
Now Beats by Dr Dre has an Aussie flavour with a unique pair of Beats Studio headphones smothered in green and gold featuring the Australian flag.
There’s a catch however, a limited 400 pairs have been produced and are only on sale at Nuance Australia stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane airports. You will need to be travelling internationally but passengers can order a pair and pick them up at the airport using the Shop and Collect service.
Beats Studio headphones deliver professional-grade sound for professionals and audiophiles alike. They are tuned for all genres of music and made for relentless, heavy-duty use. The Beats Studio headphone is the iconic flagship product for Beats by Dr. Drew. The active noise cancellation feature gives Studio headphones a unique level of power and performance
Oh and it’s $359 for the privilege!
