What do you get when the chicken crosses the road for a Pie? KFC Zinger Pie

If there’s one thing I never thought I’d hear or say it would be the words KFC and Pie together in the same sentence.  Well, consider me baffled.  KFC are introducing a limited edition Zinger Pie this month – would you eat it?

KFC ZINGER PIE

Available for a limited time only from this week the Zinger Pie is something very KFC combined with something very Australian – Zinger Chicken and the Pie.

Inside the unassuming looking pie you’ll find 100% chicken breast, marinated in the signature KFC Zinger marinade and combined with a classic gravy – my mouth is watering.

Looks like any other pie right? Nope – it’s a Zinger Pie from KFC

KFC have this on the menu at over 600 of their outlets nationally, and their spokesperson KFC spokesperson Valerie Kubizniak says the early testing for the concept was a winner:

“Our customers fell in love with the Zinger Pie when we tested it earlier this year,”  “At KFC, we’re continuing to innovate and develop exciting new menu options to suit the tastes of Aussies, bringing exclusive tasty products like the Zinger Pie to the two million customers we serve each week.”

Not sure what you think, but for me – if it comes with a side of KFC’s top-notch hot chips – I’m in!

If you get one – tweet a pic at #ZingerPie and tag @EFTM – we’d love to see what it really looks like
