You know it’s serious when you need a lawn tractor not a lawn mower

When I say that you can buy some American Muscle power down under – you first thought is probably the return of the beastly Ford Mustang to our shores in the years ahead.  Nope, I’m talking about the McCulloch lawn tractor  – “Pure muscle for large lifestyle blocks”

McCulloch M14528H

I’m not quite sure what a “large lifestyle block” is but I’m pretty sure if you can afford a big block you can afford the $2,499 price tag of the McCulloch M14538H lawn tractor.

Packing a 14.5bhp Briggs & Stratton engine under the hood this beast will take the hard work out of mowing with its foot-pedal automatic transmission.

Underneath you’ll find a 97cm cutting deck with easy cutting height adjustments and a super easy to clean system that allows you to simply hook up your normal hose to the hose connection on the deck, turn on the water and start the engine – hey presto the blades are clean!

For added versatility, the lawn tractor can be fitted with optional accessories that convert the cutting decks into efficient mulching decks. With the mulching function, the grass clippings are finely chopped and returned to the lawn to break-down as a natural fertiliser, helping to improve lawn condition.

Like any decent vehicle purchase there is an options list as long as your buffalo or kikuyu including a step-thru chassis, adjustable comfort seat and ergonomic control layout.

Pitch black paint with yellow accents make the thing look pretty mean too.
