This is the best Formula 1 Video you have ever seen – ride along with Nico Rosberg

You’ve always wanted to ride along in an F1 car around Silverstone right? I’m not sure you’ll find a better view than the one created by the Mercedes F1 team with some stunning 360 degree camera technology.

The idea is simple, the execution is perfect.  Place a camera on the side of the 2014 Mercedes Benz  W05 Formula 1 Car – its first track outing – a “shakedown” at the famous Silverstone Circuit in England.

When you get all that vision into a technology called Visualise you get this result.  It’s fantastic.

Four minutes on-board with Nico which you could watch over and over and over again – because you are the director.

Look forward

Look Backward

Look alongside the car

Even Zoom in (and notice Nico’s “watch” which is embodied onto his race-glove)

All that’s left is for you to enjoy.  Click in the box below to start the video – and then look around!

Watch it in its full glory at the Mercedes Team Website

As a huge fan of F1, and as someone who has watched all the Red Bull F1 stunts over the years such as the Tom Cruise test drive and more – I’d say the message from Mercedes is : Your Move Red Bull Racing.
