Sometimes I wonder how the companies making all these mobile phone cases and covers come up with the ideas. There has to be a million different iPhone covers so to see something “new” is rare. But that brand we know for its mobile accessories – Moshi – may have taken a look over the shoulder of a few Samsung users for the inspiration to make something very different for the iPhone, they call it the SenseCover.
Samsung pride themselves on their all screen flip cover which has a “window” to view critical information. It’s easily the most popular style of case I see with Samsung users. That same look and concept is now possible on the iPhone thanks to Moshi.
SenseCover is made for iPhone 5 and 5s, and feature a touch sensitive spot on the front in line with the swipe to unlock on your iPhone screen. So even when the cover is on and the screen protected – you can still slide to unlock.
Up top in that spot where the time and caller info is shown there is a window which means you can still glance at the phone for info, but the screen stays covered and protected.
This is a great little idea, and the quality matches that you can normally expect from Moshi’s high-end accessories.
It’s available in Steel Black or Brushed Titanium colours and should set you back a touch under $60.
