Bikes as a fashion item – they’ve always been customisable, but in the last few years the trend back onto two wheels has led to a boom in niche bike brands with a design flair – the problem often being they are strong on design with a compromise in comfort. NIXEYCLES hope to change that.
High-contrast colour schemes, sleek lines – the NIXEYCLES factory series has a focus on fun, practical and a comfortable ride alongside that star colour scheme.
They feature an upright riding position, thick-foamed seats for padding on your ride along with a rear carrier rack so you can take some baggage along with you along with extra-long mud guards to prevent too much splash and keep you clean.
The Factory 5 is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 3 speed internal gear set with twist and shift gear selector for the hills, while the Factory Four has a “flip-flop” hub allowing you to choose between single-speed and fixed-gear as you need.
The Factory5 is available in two colour combinations; fiery orange and matt black or snow white and matt black. The Factory Four is available in an electric blue, orange and black combination.
NIXEYCLES Factory5 RRP: $329
NIXEYCLES Factory Four (fixed/single speed) RRP: $279
