Poo Happens – Yep it’s a real game in the iTunes App store

Sometimes you have to wonder what was going through the minds of the people who create the games in the App store.  Take a look on your iPhone at the “Top Free” Apps and you’ll see at number 6 “Poo Happens”.  I s#@t you not, that’s the real name.

The concept is simple.  You are a pigeon – you are walking along a street.  Look up, and there are people sitting on the wire – not bird on a wire, people on a wire.  Ok?  Strange.  Yes.

It gets worse.  As you walk – those people – they poo.  Yep, that’s right.

Press the screen, the pigeon stops, but you can only press for a limited amount of time, and the pigeon needs to walk to “recharge” that available time.

It’s somewhat addictive, and that’s what keeps people coming back I’ve got no doubt.

Free game, but plenty of in-app purchase requests and advertising too.
