Twelve South impoves the already impressive HiRise with a Deluxe model

I’ve already raved about the HiRise iPhone/iPad stand from Twelve South.  It’s a simple yet elegant looking desk stand for your iDevice, But there’s always room for improvement right?  The new $70 Deluxe version does just that.

Buying the HiRise is more than just a take it from the box and whack it on the desk situation.  You need to find a cable (or buy another one), assemble the support stand just to get it working.

The Deluxe solves those two problems.  In the box is a Lightning cable for iPhone and a MicroUSB for other devices – including the many “battery cases” that exist for iPhones, or for your Android device.

Instead of the assembly of the support stand requiring a small allen key – the Deluxe has a simple twist screw ready to go.

All up, it’s simple, and the extra $30 price tag is covered by the two cables included, let alone the simplicity.

And as with the original, there are three cable holders to ensure the stand works in almost any case you might have.

Cracking great product – Check it out at Try & Byte. Oh, and it comes in grey, gold and black.
