The Garage – Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE

If you love cars, you love Range Rovers.  There’s something about them – the look, their presence on the road, perhaps just that brand that appeals – so getting behind the wheel could mean make or break for what was a matter of skin-deep lust.  How does it shape up?  It’s in the EFTM Garage, and a full review is coming soon.

Wow Factor: It’s a great looking vehicle which has had some very nice styling refinements over recent years to give it a solid modern look, when you add the optional privacy glass there’s an added feeling of elegance.

Most Impressive: It’s hard to go past the absolute ease of the drive behind the wheel of this thing… It has a King of the road type feel to it, yet it shrinks around you.  The steering is light and makes it suitable for any driver in the family.

Least Impressive: This is the “volume seller” for Range Rover, and the option list is long. and that shows inside.  The plain interior comes with a lot of blank switches where you know something else “could” be – so you know your missing out..

Early Verdict: There are plenty of decent large 4WD vehicles which can handle the off-road, but not many that looks this damn good on the road too.
