Is this the ultimate universal in-car mount for your phone? MONTAR by WinnerGear

Finding a decent in-car mount for your smartphone is quite hard.  There isn’t actually all that many available despite it being a legal requirement for the use of phones in a car that they be mounted to the dash or windscreen.  I’ve found you the answer.

The MONTAR from WinnerGear is just what you need.  You’ll find it online for under $50, and it will suit any phone you have.

So for a shared car, it doesn’t matter what you or your partner have as your phone, this will work with them all.

It’s solid mount will stick to the window without any question.  I’ve had mounts in the past drop off after time, this one was actually difficult to take off.  It’s not just suction mounted, the mount is also sticky.

The MONTAR mount with an iPhone 6 PLUS in it.

While it seems narrow when you first get it, the clamp opens up like a hand, but is continuously squeezing on whatever phone you put in it.

My only gripe is that you do need to push against one side to open the claw and snap your phone in, which changes the angle of the phone each time.  That’s easily overcome with a quick adjustment and fast becomes second nature as you jump in the car.

Have a look online, I found one at Fishpond for $47, I reckon it’s a bloody good option for you.
