What to see at Australia’s largest Audio Visual show – Integrate 2015 in Melbourne

If you have a passion for installing the latest and greatest in sound, big screens and have either got an amazing home theatre at home or are dreaming and planning for one, then the Integrate show in Melbourne from August 25 to 27 is a must see.  EFTM will be there with other AV industry professionals checking out world-leading AV tech and drooling over some super screens.

I popped into Integrate, the AV industry’s largest trade event, last year in Sydney and if that’s a sample of what’s ahead in Melbourne then it’s fair to say that if you’re an AV enthusiast in the Melbourne area you should come along.

Across the show floor are a huge number of exhibitors from brands you’re familiar with to ones you may never have heard of.

Projectors

When you head into your local electronics retailer, they’ll maybe have on show a couple of projectors and of course there are projectors you can buy for under $500.  But what if colour, brightness and contrast are things that you’re really looking for exceptional quality in – this is why Integrate is so great.

Expect the likes of Epson, Sony, Panasonic, Canon and many others to have ready and working a range of projectors to suit almost any need.

Sure, there are people looking to project onto buildings these days, but for the big-screen at home experience there really is a huge range and some great features like wireless streaming, network connectivity as well as 4K and 3D.

Walk the show floor to see these on display, and take advantage of the expert staff from the brands themselves to help you with your home theatre design ideas.

Sound

A mass of amazing business and corporate solutions providing boardroom, cinema and wireless presentation sound will be mixed in with top quality speakers, amplifiers and hi-fi systems well worth the time of even the most discerning home theatre enthusiast.

Gadgets and Gizmos

As with any great tech show, there’s always something cool to find.
Just a quick look at what’s coming via the Integrate Exhibitor directory, I’m keen to check out these great brackets for Sonos speakers from Vogels

And how’s this for brilliant.  Got poor WiFi in some parts of your home?  These light bulbs from Machtig LED stretch and improve your WiFi as you put more and more bulbs around your home.

Dates and Details

Come along to Integrate 2015 at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre from August 25 to 27.  I’ll be there on the 26th – come say hi!
