Today at CES in Las Vegas, we came across a concept product call the Laundroid. It is set to be the world’s first laundry folding bot. From the current design it looks a lot like a normal cupboard and all the folding and magic happens on the inside.
This magic is exactly that at this stage, there currently is no product, no working prototype and not even a clue as to how this product will work. The team however is in collaboration with Panasonic to make it happen and a team has been formed. Seems as though their first step was coming up with a name.
While nothing exists today and we must continue to fold our own clothes, perhaps next year or the year after we will be closer to this being a reality.
