Automobili Lamborghini Australian Country Manager Eginardo Bertoli was in Sydney today to unveil the Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 – a two-wheel drive variant of the successful Huracán.
Why create a two-wheel drive version of a vehicle that has sold in spades as a four-wheel drive supercar? Easy – for Fun! While the
The LP 580-2 is built for enjoyment, and if you’re taking your Lambo out on a track getting the tail out and having some fun is the name of the game and there’s no better way than this.
A V10 naturally aspirated power plant will get you from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds topping out at 320km/h.
The two-wheel-drive variant has a redesigned front and rear bumper and is supported all round by a hybrid aluminium and carbon fibre frame.
In the rear engine compartment Lamborghini have made a point of leaving exposed the “forged carbon fibre” so you can see the difference – not the standard weaved carbon fibers, this forged approach has a different look but allows for faster production time at the factory.
Whatever the case, its beautiful – and if you’re wondering the price then it’s out of your budget:)
