Despite no firm timeframe on the release of the “next” Forza edition for Xbox, Microsoft and Lamborghini have today announced that the Lamborghini Centenario which was unveiled at the recent Geneva Motorshow will be the cover car for the “next Forza racing game on Xbox”.
These covers are lusted after, the FIFA cover player is a respected appointment, so getting your shiny new supercar on the cover of one of the best racing games on the planet is just as impressive.
Lamborghini Centenario celebrates the 100 year anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth, with just 20 coupes and 20 roasdster versions of the car to be produced. Oh, and if you’re thinking about it – cancel the bank-cheque. All of them are sold at a starting price of $2.6 million plus tax.
Get this for a stat – more than five million players have spent nearly 60 million hours racing in Lamborghinis in Forza games. The Lamborghini Centenario will join another 14 Lamborghini models already featured in the Forza franchise of games.
