The Barossa Valley is one of the most popular wine destinations in Australia. Home of amazing Shiraz and stunning wine brands known across the world. This beautiful part of the world is now ready for you and your two wheels to peddle from vineyard to vineyard, safely.
We highlight “safely” because in the country, especially wine country, you need to be extra careful when cycling the roads. This new cycle trail in the Barossa is entirely seperate to the main roads and will also take you through amazing landscapes and to amazing destinations.
The new trail will take you through to Penfolds, Grant Burge, Jacob’s Creek and Rockford. The 40km trail has a hub where you can hire bicycles, service your own bike, maps and accessories. During the trails you are likely to experience great wines as well as all the native wildlife the Barossa has to offer, cockatoos and kangaroos to name just a couple.
Our advice would be to select your vineyards wisely and still drink responsibly. Falling off your bike just wont be as fun as it looks, to others.
