Behold, the first ever Rolls-Royce concept car. A thing of future beauty

Here’s a car that’s going to be touring the world’s motor shows and be the talk of the luxury car world – it’s the “Vision Next 100” and is the first pure “vision” car built to define the future of luxury mobility.

CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Torsten Müller-Ötvös said “Today, Rolls-Royce, the world’s leading luxury brand, has defined the future of luxury mobility. The Grand Arrival of the Rolls-Royce VISION NEXT 100 boldly points to a bright future for our marque where our patrons’ individual demands for complete and authentic personalisation will be met through an exquisite fusion of technology, design and hallmark Rolls-Royce craftsmanship.”

Codenamed 103EX, it is Rolls-Royce’s first ever pure ‘Vision Vehicle’. This is an autonomous Rolls-Royce experience which they say creates a “sanctuary” for its occupants while presenting the usual Rolls Royce “Grand Arrival”.

It’s just beautiful – and you can imagine Google will be right on the phone to Rolls looking to assist with its development, because the interior “passenger only” approach with no wheel or driver is equal to that of the Google Self-Driving car concept.

Match these pics with an impressive 360 degree video experience (view with Google Chrome browser) and you can see how Rolls are trying to present themselves.

Will I see this in my lifetime?  Maybe.  Until then, I’ll lust over a Wraith any day:)
