Australia’s biggest AV Show hits Sydney next week: Integrate 2016

Before heading to Melbourne for Integrate 2015 last year I really didn’t know what to expect. This is not about consumer technology, but it’s the technology behind the companies that showcase products and technology at events and retail all around the world. This year, Integrate is on in Sydney kicking off on Tuesday 23rd August.

If you’re in the Audio Visual (AV) business you’re going to want to get to Sydney Olympic Park to see what’s new in Audio tech, Big screens, display screens, retail concepts and displays and much more.

From a purely innovative perspective, here’s four great thing we’re looking forward to seeing next week:

Panasonic’s Light ID – this is super smart technology that allows someone with a smartphone to point it at a compatible digital sign and get additional information and details right on the screen – take away the info or learn more right there on the spot.

If you’ve ever worked somewhere with a bolted on Video Conferencing solution you’ll know the pain of the mess, the cables and the unprofessional look that can be.  Colebrook Bosson Saunders will show off an all in one cabinet solution that houses everything you need and keeps it all neat and tidy.

Check this out – From Brightgreen – these thin and low profile lights are actually an alternative to recessed LEDs – they offer a good-looking mount with all the high-tech multi colour LED technology available in lights today.

Melbourne LED are looking to show off with their window display concepts using next generation LED displays as part of the window signage experience.

Using digital signs but making them part of the environment – see through and signs at the same time, is innovative and a much better solution to just blocking the window with banners.

Registration for Integrate is open now, the show is on over three days, Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th so pop out to Homebush and check it out – I’ll be out there on Tuesday so come say hi!
