The most common question I got yesterday after Apple announced the lightning port of the iPhone 7 would be where you plug in headphones was “how can I charge my iPhone and listen to audio at the same time’. As suspected, that question has been answered with a third-party adaptor from Belkin.
The “Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar” for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available next month for $59.95 and is basically a double adaptor for the lightning port.
With the Audio + Charge Rockstar plugged in, you can plug in your charging cable, and a set of lightning headphones at the same time.
Or if you’re still using older 3.5mm headphones, you can plug in a charging cable, and the Apple lightning to 3.5mm adaptor with your headphones connected.
Simple.
Steve Malony from Belkin said “We’re excited to offer the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar to our customers, extending our family of RockStar multi-port products and creating an easy way for people to charge and listen on the go”
