Here’s the thing – before an iPhone announcement there are factories in China making actual look-a-like devices based on all the rumours in an effort to get clicks and hits as well as to help case manufacturers get a jump on building their next range of accessories. Aussie leaker Sonny Dickson seems to have some credible evidence confirming a few things in recent leaks.
Several weeks ago Sonny shared photos of what he claims to be the iPhone 7 “Pro” alongside an iPhone 7.
These photos show the iPhone 7 design to be quite similar to the 6 and 6s, while the Pro has a dual lens camera, thought to be the standout feature of the “Pro” which sits above the 7 and 7 plus in the range, albeit the same device and screen size as the 7 Plus.
Today he tweeted a video of three phones with iOS screens – this is often a mock up screen, so to prove they are real – the hand swipes across them all and turns them on, the final device is then turned over to show the larger – thought to be dual lens – camera.
Hey, it’s all rumour and speculation until next Thursday Morning, so we’ll have to wait and see.
