The Best Tablet category is a crowded one when you consider just how many tablets there are on the market now as well as how many devices are both tablet and laptop.
At it’s very heart though the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S is a tablet. That it comes with a keyboard cover in the box is more than a bonus, it’s what makes this a viable option for consideration.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Pro S comes in WiFi only and 4G connected versions, and given the small additional cost of 4G it’s highly recommended.
Using this tablet makes productivity a breeze. In any location you’re up and running with a full version of Windows 10.
Of course you don’t have to use the keyboard cover, in tablet mode it switches to Windows 10 Tablet mode and things are just as easy.
It’s got a big screen, never lacking in power and frankly, this is the first time I’ve used a tablet as a daily driver laptop replacement and it’s convinced me of the use-case that is the post-pc era.
Overall, top-notch. And I haven’t even talked about the benefits for those running a Samsung smartphone with the device sharing options that exist there.
All in all, a close race given the quality of tablets out there, but our EFTM Best Tablet 2016 award goes to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S.
