Our First Day in Boston, We’re in Love

We are in Boston this week for a special event however while we are here we’re checking out the sights.

Last night we sat in a bar watching the Super Bowl however today we’ve been roaming for miles and miles.

We started the day walking to James Hook & Co for a lobster roll. We had heard great things about the place and had to see it for ourselves. We can confirm, it is a must visit destination when you’re in Boston.

We spent some time in the Boston Markets before starting the Freedom Trail and visiting so many historic sites, memorials etc. The Freedom Trail is 2.5 miles and worth every step. The monuments are stunning and only a couple of the museums on the way ask for a small donation for maintenance, everything else is entirely free.

Visiting McGreevy’s pub at the end of the day (which was a late lunch/dinner) was well worth it. America’s first Sports Bar and the memorabilia in the place is outstanding. It is like the Hard Rock Cafe for sports.

Check out all the footage of the day in the vlog below, Boston is certainly impressing us. Tomorrow we’ll check out Harvard, MIT and whatever else we find in that area.
