With the V8 Supercars starring in the support paddock for this weekend’s Australian Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne, Aussie mobile brand Boost Mobile have taken out an event sponsorship with the Mobile 1 HSV Racing Team.
The sponsorship expansion means the Boost Prepaid brand will be plastered all over the cars, inside and out, as well as the pit Garages for the team.
Both James Courtney and Scott Pye’s Holden V8 Supercars will carry the branding this weekend in the non-championship races at Albert Park.
Mobil 1 HSV Racing Managing Director, Adrian Burgess, is certainly pleased to have the brand on board in such a big way,
“It’s fantastic news that Boost Mobile is extending the relationship that we started in Adelaide. It’s really pleasing for the team to bring in a new partner. Knowing they have instantly seen the value in not only the team, but Supercars as a category as a means to promote their brand and product is a really positive thing,” Burgess said.
“We are very excited to be going in to a longer-term arrangement, but also an expanded presence on the car for the AGP.
General Manager of Boost Mobile Australia, Jason Haynes, was pleased to expand the partnership
“After beginning the relationship with Mobil 1 HSV Racing at the Clipsal 500, we at Boost Mobile are delighted to not only be able to continue it at the Australian Grand Prix, but extend it to take a major branding position,” Haynes said.
“We are extremely committed to supporting motorsport and action sports in Australia, so it’s great to be on the grid at one of the biggest events in Australia.
“We saw some fantastic results both on and off the track in Adelaide, which made the opportunity to have our brand on the car again extremely appealing.”
