BMW enables Electric Charging at Westfield Shopping Centres

BMW Australia have opened 40 electric vehicle (EV) charging bays in ten major Westfield shopping centres.

The spaces are available to all electric vehicle owners, not just BMW’s and offer free charging when available.

In addition to the new charging locations, BMW will also begin a showcase of the all-electric i3 in an interactive display that will tour various Westfield centres.

Marc Werner, CEO of BMW Group Australia is keen for BMW to be seen as a leader in this space

“BMW remains at the forefront of providing e-mobility solutions, the revolutionary BMW i3 being just one example of this,” said Werner.

“This partnership reinforces the BMW i brand’s innovative strength and commitment to smart sustainable solutions here in Australia,” he said.

The charging locations are located at:

  • Westfield Bondi Junction
  • Westfield Chatswood
  • Westfield Miranda
  • Westfield Sydney
  • Westfield Parramatta
  • Westfield Warringah Mall
  • Westfield Carindale
  • Westfield Chermside
