Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 & Galaxy Book Australian pricing and availability

After announcing their new tablet range at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona over five months ago, Samsung has today confirmed the pricing and availability for the Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Book in Australia.

The Tab S3 is the latest in a long line of tablets from Samsung, over many years, and is no doubt their best yet.  It’s thin, light and powerful with a solid range of accessories available.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book is the successor to Samsung’s first Windows Tablet, the Galaxy Tab Pro S from last year.

Available in two sizes (10.6 inch and 12 inch), the Galaxy Book is targeted to those looking for a laptop/tablet 2-in-1 convertible.  The keyboard cover now features keys that are clearly independent, rather than the solid block of keys from last year’s model.

A sign of both demand and the push for productivity, all three devices will come in WiFi only and 4G models – working on all Aussie networks..

“Samsung believes in premium experiences and choice, and the Galaxy Book and Tab S3 give Australians the ability to choose the tablet that suits their needs and stay connected with a 4G offering,” said Richard Fink, Vice President, IT and Mobile Division.

He went on to say “Whether it’s the Galaxy Book 12-inch productivity powerhouse with a keyboard and S Pen, or a beautifully crafted and sleek Tab S3 engineered for premium entertainment experiences, our new range offers a great solution for a variety of users, from busy professionals on-the-go to people relaxing whilst streaming content at home,”

All the devices go on sale July 28 from Samsung Direct, with retail and telco availability yet to be announced.

Those who order a Galaxy Book before September 12 will receive a very cool Staedtler pencil which is in fact a Samsung S Pen – valued at $198.
