BMW Fire The Starter’s Gun For Frankfurt

Chris Bowen will cover the IAA Cars 2017 show in Frankfurt in mid-September for EFTM but BMW have today revealed a host of new creations and concepts, here’s just a taste…

The updated BMW i3, will make its debut appearance and be joined by a second model variant. With a higher output, model-specific chassis technology, more dynamic driving qualities and unique design features.

The BMW Concept 8 Series and the BMW 7 Series Edition 40 Jahre will showcase an expanded presence in the luxury segment. The Jahre version will be limited to just 200 units and offer a much higher level of bespoke options. Other highlights include the BMW Concept Z4, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo and BMW X3.

For all out-performance models, we can expect to see the new BMW M8 GTE created for endurance racing. Plus, the already announced BMW M5. The company will have a massive exhibition space covering an area of over 10,500 square metres that includes a circuit around 150 metres long. Visitors to the Frankfurt Motor Show on 14 – 24 September 2017 will be given the opportunity to experience the new models in action.
